Boilers |
|
Ryan has been installing boilers since our inception in 1937. Over the years, many things have changed; however, here at Ryan the craftsmanship that went into a boiler installation way back then is still the same today. Did you know that we still rebuild our steam boiler headers using black pipe? Sure, many of these young whippersnappers that have been installing boiler for only 30 or 40 years may try a copper header for a quick, cheap install, but after you’ve been around as long as Ryan, you know better. It’s old-fashion black pipe all the way. Cost more? A little. Last longer? You betcha! And you won’t see Ryan connecting into existing headers. You see header rebuilds on each steam boiler install. Sometimes, it’s only us that appreciates it, but there nothing better than standing back and admiring a boiler well-installed.
Being a multi-line installer (Weil-McLain, Burnham, Peerless, Crown, Unionsteam) gives us the depth and breadth required to handle this critical technology. Besides picking up expertise from each of our manufacturer support teams, it allow us to provide a wide choice of product to our clients: From standard to high-efficiency water and steam systems; gas or oil; residential, commercial and production boiler. We do it all including the radiant heat, snow-melt systems and piping systems we install and service.
And while our Plumbers are some of the best in the business, did you know that there’s a lot more to a boiler than just plumbing? Contrary to the boilers of yesteryear, all modern boilers require line voltage to operate. As we all know, electricity can extremely dangerous if not wired and grounded properly. Why not have a licensed electrician such as Ryan connect the power to your boiler. It’s safer for you and your family. And speaking of safety, a boiler entails critical combustion technologies that are best left to experienced heating technicians. Here, too, Ryan is prepared. We have a large staff of HVAC techs on board to insure your boiler’s combustion process is safe and reliable. It hard to find a company so equipped to install your boiler.
Now-a-days, you see a lot of oil to gas conversions. To get the job done right, don’t you think your gas installer should also be an oil expert? Well, look no further. Ryan origins are oil industry related. From the owners down to the apprentices, we possess in depth knowledge of oil systems and tanks. Trust your conversion to a company that knows the whole picture. Perhaps that’s why were trusted by the gas utilities to perform their oil to gas installations.
Did you know that all boiler installations require permits? You’d be surprised to learn that not all contractors pull permits. This can lead to serious repercussions. First, can you imagine trying to sell your property and not have the proper installation and/or tank documentation? It can be a nightmare. Second, a permit insures inspections by our plumbing & fire inspectors who scour the installation for proper installation techniques. Contractors who pull permits quickly learn the full gamut of how to install a boiler professionally and by-code. This is especially true for a company like Ryan who pulls thousands of permits in over 100 New Jersey communities. With the professionalism of those 100+ subcode officials, we are ‘at one’ with code and proper installation techniques. Nobody knows code like Ryan.
But it doesn’t stop there. Your installation is backed by our knowledgeable office staff. We’re there when you call. We’re diligent in getting your permits closed out (and securing the all-important ‘Certificate of Approval’) as well as getting your rebates issued. We’re not finished until the last t is crossed and the last i dotted. Rest assured that when you call Ryan, from start to finish, you’ll have a job well done.
